BLS CERTIFICATION

This is an American Red Cross BLS provider certification class that is an in person hands-on training for individuals who have a job related duty to respond to emergencies in the healthcare field. Participants learn how to assess, recognize and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest, airway obstruction or opioid overdose for adults, children and infants. This course emphasizes providing high quality care & integrating psychomotor skills with critical thinking & problem solving to achieve best quality outcomes.

We review two rescuer and multi-rescuer CPR, the use of a BVM and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

This course is required for medical professionals, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, medical students, nursing students, etc.

BLS CERTIFICATION RENEWAL

This is an American Red Cross BLS Renewal certification class for healthcare providers.

This is an in-person hands-on Advanced CPR certification training review class for Healthcare professionals who have previously completed the American Red Cross BLS Provider course within the last two years.

Participants will review how to recognize and provide care in emergencies for adults, children, and infants.

Participants learn how to assess, recognize and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest, airway obstruction or opioid overdose for adults, children and infants.

ADULT AND PEDIATRIC FIRST AID, CPR, AED

This is an American Red Cross Pediatric & Adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification class that is an in-person hands-on training.

You will learn how to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid medical emergencies. The courses teach participants the skills and knowledge needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter, and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Can include skills to recognize s/s of shock, asthma attack, anaphylaxis, heart attack, diabetic emergencies, high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, choking, CPR and use of an AED device for victims of sudden cardiac arrest of all ages, adult, child and infant CPR.

This course is recommended for therapists, teachers, coaches, parents, grandparents, day care providers, construction workers, and anyone who wants to learn basic first aid and CPR and does not work in the medical field.

ARC Bloodborne Pathogen certification class is in-person and hands-on training. This class is designed for individuals who need to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for employment.

This course is designed for individuals who are employed in but not limited to childcare providers, department store employees, gym staff, personal trainers, housekeepers, teachers, janitors, coaches, police officers, correctional officers, security guards, ETC.

CPR / AED

This is an American Red Cross Pediatric & Adult CPR/AED certification class that is an in-person hands-on training.

This course will help you gain knowledge and skills to save a life during a cardiac arrest emergency as well as perform lifesaving CPR and use an AED correctly.

We will also review other life threatening emergencies that may require these skills.

This class is recommended for girls/boys scouts, churches, social clubs, baby sitters, students, families, bars, retail stores, etc.

BLS OR FA/CPR/AED - ONLINE BLENDED LEARNING COURSES

*elearning online course included in price.

(requires elearning online portion to be completed prior to scheduling a skills session)

This American Red Cross BLS OR FA/CPR/AED Provider skills session is the in-person hands-on skills portion of the ARC Blended Learning course called and includes the skills practice and testing components. It is conducted in-person after a student completes the separate

BLS OR FA/CPR/AED ONLINE LEARNING COURSE (included)

The online learning course is approximately 2 hours in length (Time varies based on person). The in-person hands-on skills session is approximately 1.5 hours.

You must complete the Online Learning Course on the ARC website PRIOR to scheduling a date for the skills portion of this class. Once you complete the online portion YOU MUST email the completion certificate to shakara@handsoverheartscpr.com

and then the in-person skills session can be scheduled. Upon successful completion of the skills session, participants will receive the American Red Cross Provider eCard via email valid for 2 years.

ADULT FIRST AID, CPR, AED
