BLS CERTIFICATION

This is an American Heart Association BLS provider certification class that is an in person hands-on "Advanced CPR" training  for individuals who have a job related duty to respond to emergencies. Participants learn how to recognize and provide care during emergencies for adults, children and infants. We review two rescuer and multi-rescuer CPR, the use of a bag mask and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

This course is required for medical professionals,  respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, medical students, nursing students, etc.

BLS CERTIFICATION RENEWAL

This is an American Heart Association BLS Renewal certification class for healthcare providers. This is an in-person hands-on Advanced CPR certification training class for Healthcare professionals who have previously completed the American Heart Association BLS Provider course within the last two years.  

Participants will review how to recognize and provide care in  emergencies for adults, children, and infants. We will review Two-Rescuer, and Multi-Rescuer High-Performance Team CPR, use of the bag mask device and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course is required for medical professionals, medical students, nursing students, etc.   

*Participants MUST bring their previous American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard (w/in 30 days of expiration) with them to this BLS certification renewal course in order to participate.

HEARTSAVER FIRST AID, CPR, AED

This is an American Heart Association First Aid, CPR, AED certification class that is an in-person hands-on training. You will learn how to identify and care for life-threatening medical emergencies including severe bleeding, shock, heart attack, burns, head injuries, sudden illnesses, choking, CPR and use of an AED device for victims of sudden cardiac arrest of all ages, adult, child and infant CPR.

This course is recommended for therapists, coaches, parents, grandparents, construction workers, contractors, gym personnel, and anyone who wants to learn basic first aid and CPR and does not work in the medical field.

HEARTSAVER CPR / AED

This is an American Heart Association Pediatric & Adult CPR/AED certification class that is an in-person hands-on training. This course will help you gain knowledge and skills to save a life during a cardiac arrest emergency as well as perform lifesaving CPR and use an AED correctly. We will also review other life threatening emergencies that may require these skills.

This class is recommended for girls/boys scouts, churches, social clubs, baby sitters, students, families, etc.

K-12 HEARTSAVER SCHOOLS COURSE

Schedule a HEARTSAVER FIRST AID/CPR/AED CLASS with Hands Over Hearts CPR and ensure you and your school staff/students are up to date on the latest Work Environment Regulation and Safety Requirements. 


Heartsaver for K-12 Schools Course is great for students and school faculty who successfully complete Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Heartsaver CPR AED, or Heartsaver First Aid courses in K-12 schools.

This class is ideal to stay up to date on the latest safety requirements and learning the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. Get the peace of mind that comes from knowing you are prepared to handle any emergency.

FIRST AID, CPR, AED

This is an American Heart Association Pediatric First Aid, CPR, AED certification class that is an in-person hands-on training. This Heart Saver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED class is geared towards anyone involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This course path offers the flexibility to add optional topics. 

This course is recommended for teachers, daycare providers, camp counselors, therapists, coaches, parents, grandparents, construction workers, contractors, gym personnel, and anyone who wants to learn basic first aid and CPR and does not work in the medical field.

HS BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS-FULL STAND ALONE COURSE

This is an American Heart Association certification class that is an in-person and  hands-on training. This class is designed for individuals who need to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for employment.

This course is designed for individuals who are employed in but not limited to childcare providers, department store employees, gym staff, personal trainers, housekeepers, teachers, janitors, coaches, police officers, correctional officers, security guards, ETC.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS 

The American Heart Association's Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult hands-only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR, adult/child AED use, infant CPR, and choking relief for adults, children, and infants.

​

This class is intended for anyone who wants to learn CPR, but does not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job or school requirement. 

​

This course is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, schools and students, and others interested in learning how to save a life.

​​

THERE MUST BE A MINIMUM OF (4) INDIVIDUALS TO BOOK THIS CLASS.

HEARTCODE BLS- ONLINE BLENDED COURSE

*elearning online course not included in(This class requires the elearning online portion to be completed prior to scheduling a skills session)

This American Heart Association BLS Provider skills session is the in-person hands-on skills portion of the AHA Blended eLearning course called HeartCode BLS and includes the skills practice and testing components. It is conducted in-person after a student completes the separate 

HEARTCODE BLS ONLINE COURSE (not included)

The HeartCode BLS online course is approximately 1.5 hours in length. This in-person hands-on BLS skills session is approximately 2 hours.

You must complete the HeartCode BLS Online eLearning Course on the AHA website PRIOR to scheduling this class.

 

Once completed YOU MUST email the completion certificate to shakara@handsoverheartscpr.com

and then the in-person skills session can be scheduled.

 

Upon successful completion of the skills session, participants will receive the American Heart Association (HC) BLS Provider  eCard via email valid for 2 years.

HEARTSAVER TOTAL FIRST AID/CPR/AED ONLINE-BLENDED COURSE

This American Heart Association HEARTSAVER FIRST AID/CPR/AED Blended Course allows the flexibility to go at your own pace at home, submit completion certificate via email and then you will be eligible to schedule an in-person skills session with one of our instructors.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED provides students the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of First aid, CPR, and use of an AED. This course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community. This is a comprehensive course path designed for those requiring training to meet OSHA or other regulatory agency requirements.
The Heartsaver Total course path of the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online course is taught in a blended learning format.
Students must complete the online portion purchased by you separately through the American Heart Association ShopCPR site (approximately $20.50+tax) for the omline portion only. Skills Session is sold separately.

Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session (both sold separately), will receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion card, valid for two years.

You must complete the HS Total Online Course on the eLearning AHA website PRIOR to scheduling this class.
